The Tossers![]() Tossers: Raised on the South Side of Chicago which is known for its huge Irish Catholic community, The Tossers emerged in the early 90s with their own brew of Celtic music fueled by a love of traditional folk songs and punk rock fury. Using traditional instrumentation comprised of mandolin, fiddle, tin whistle and banjo beefed up with guitar and drums, The Tossers play with a furious edge that teeters between rage and raucousness. Carbon Leaf![]() Carbon Leaf: Carbon Leaf blasted into the national spotlight two years ago with their major label debut, Indian Summer. But while they kept busy working as support on major national tours (Dave Matthews Band, Counting Crows, John Mayer, etc.) and headlining their own, this Virginia-based band continues to grow and deliver songs whose sounds get richer, whose grooves get more infectious, and whose messages run deeper and deeper. FU won "best local band" in the 2006 WUSA*9 "A List" competition and the 2004 South Riding Battle of the Bands. FU has been featured in the Washington Post (Editors' Pick), The Post Express (1 Top Stop), On Tap Online, the DC Citypaper, Voice of the Hill, and the Loudoun Times-Mirror. Burnt Sienna![]() Burnt Sienna - A real crowd favorite at ShamrockFest 07 and we are sure they will be, once again this year. 5 guys from the PA/NJ/DE area playing covers up and down the east coast for your enjoyment . We spend the winter packing rooms from Boston to Long Island to Philadelphia to Arlington. In the summertime we head to the NJ and DE beaches to entertain and to help the breweries and distilleries stay in business. Liquid A (Just Added)Jimmie's Chicken Shack![]() Jimmie's Chicken Shack has toured continuously since 1995. In between headlining their own tours in the US and Europe they've been out with bands such as Live, 311, Creed, Fuel and Everclear. They have shared festival stages with nearly every major alternative rock band. Jimmie's has just released their eighth album, Fail On Cue, on their own Fowl Records. High, the bands first major label single from the 1997 album Pushing the Salmanilla Envelope climbed the charts for a year eventually coming to rest in the top 10 of the active rock charts and the buzz bin on MTV. Do Right, Jimi's ode to an ex-girfriend from the second Rocket album, Bring Your Own Stereo also spent many weeks at the MTV buzz clip and nearly a year in the alternative rock charts resulting in another top ten hit. Army of Me![]() Army of Me - "Come Down to DC", an epic ode to their roots, was added into full rotation on DC101 in the Fall of 2005 - just the second time in the station's history that they added a song from an unsigned band. Sirius Radio's "Alt Nation" added "Going Through Changes" to its play list, eventually making the song the fourth most requested and played song on the station - yet another amazing feat for a band who, at the time, was still unsigned. And now, with their album CITIZEN released by the prolific Doghouse Records, the radio story continues to grow, with adds for "Going Through Changes" playing on radio stations throughout the country.
